Trade policy of China
The Chinese government encourages enterprise to do foreign trade and providing a lot of supports and help.
The door of China's foreign trade was first opened in 1978. For a time, Chinese people started with their small family workshops through their unique industrious efforts, and soon a lot of companies sprang up. When the first abroad buyers came, they were all surprised by the low prices of Chinese products. For some products, the foreign local retail price is tens of dollars, but China wholesale price is only a few cents dollars. What makes Chinese products so cheap? The answers are the low prices of raw materials, cheap labor costs, as well as the support form Chinese government.
Since 1978, the Chinese government has established six special economic zones: Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Shantou, Hainan Island, Kashi. And today, the government is vigorously supporting the establishment of dedicated international trade centers in Yiwu and Guangzhou, which are called reform pilot city. The purpose is that to make the two cities become rallying points for foreign trade procurement, and almost all the China's factories will set up distribution points in these two cities.
Since 2011, in order to lead the Chinese enterprises to a high-end development from the bottom of the product chain, the Chinese government began to encourage enterprises to export high-tech products.
