Port of Qinghuangdao sits on the Bohai sea, it is a natural good harbors in north of China. It mainly deal with the coal oil, grain, chemical fertilizer,ore and so on. Qinghuangdao is famous for energy export, make the coal from Shanxi, Shangxi, Neimenggu, Nixia, Heibei to the east ,south of China and also the countries and regions in America, Europe, Asian. The coal output share more than 50% of the whole country, is the main passage of coal output. The port owns the biggest automation pier for loading and unloading and advanced wharf for the crude oil, groceries and containers. The total volume of berth is 58, and 37 among them is producibility berths. Qinghuangdao has two piers, two 25000 tons level berths, one 50000 tons level,one 3000 ton level berth and the capacity of thoughput reached to 16500000 tons. Qinghuangdao finished 153,000,000 tons throughput in 2004, 20.27% increase than last year. The throughput of 2005 is 169,020,000 tons.
